MUNGINDI SCULPTURE TRAIL
The Mungindi Sculpture Trail is a 2.5km open-air gallery that intriguingly spans the New South Wales/Queensland border at two points. This trail features ten raw and rustic sculptures by the late, acclaimed artist Tony ‘Nicko’ McMillan, offering a fresh perspective on art and nature. In tribute to his remarkable life filled with honor, generosity, and grace, Nicko's widow, Katherine McMillan, donated his remaining sculptures to the Mungindi community, a town he cherished deeply. The sculptures are complemented by interpretative signage and QR code-accessible videos that provide insights into their stories.
