CULGOA NATIONAL PARK

Nothing captures the essence of the outback quite like Waltzing Matilda, with its billabongs and coolabah trees. And few places represent the bush ballad and iconic outback landscapes as vividly as the Culgoa National Park.

The remote park lies 50 km from Goodooga and 30 km from Weilmoringle.

Here you’ll discover the largest coolabah woodland in NSW, majestic river red gums, waterways teeming with birds and wildlife and rich First Nations history.

Immerse in the iconic landscapes by day through renowned walking tracks including Culgoa Connellys Track, Yuwura Yurun and Mirri Mirru Yurun, or pull up stumps at the Culgoa River Campground and stay a while to truly experience the sights and sounds of this spectacular natural sanctuary.
