BANK ART MUSEUM MOREE

BAMM is a unique regional art institution dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of Moree. For thirty years, it has been enhancing the local cultural scene with a dynamic array of exhibitions that both educate and inspire visitors from near and far.

BAMM actively promotes cultural enrichment through a diverse schedule of touring exhibitions sourced from major cultural institutions. It houses two significant collections showcasing both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australian art from the late nineteenth century to the present, with a strong emphasis on local artists and traditions. This collection offers a comprehensive view of the region’s art and artifacts, honoring the past while embracing contemporary perspectives. BAMM also manages a substantial collection of ancient Kamilaroi cultural objects and early contact materials.

The gallery provides tailored tours, workshops, and classes, and a shop where visitors can purchase gifts and souvenirs. BAMM is open Tuesday through Saturday.
